November 15, 2016

Washington D.C. – U.S. Representative Steve Scalise (R-La.) today was re-elected by his colleagues to serve as the Majority Whip of the United States House of Representatives for the 115th Congress. He released the following statement regarding his re-election:

“I’m grateful that my colleagues have elected me to continue serving as Majority Whip. With Donald Trump coming into the White House, the American people have given us a tremendous opportunity to pass bold, conservative reforms that put our country back on track so we can create jobs, strengthen our national security and restore the promise established by our Constitution. I’m honored to serve alongside our strong leadership team and our entire united Conference as we work together to deliver strong results that make America great again.”
