Scalise Statement on Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) released the following statement in recognition of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

“As we reflect upon the life of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., today, we also recognize how our nation has been strengthened by his legacy,” Rep. Scalise said. “Dr. King challenged our country to fulfill the promises of liberty, equality, and justice prescribed in the founding of our great nation.
