The HEAT Report
The HEAT Report is a weekly newsletter focusing on how members of the House Energy Action Team (HEAT) promote American energy security, and an all-of-the-above energy economy.
The Latest:
Last Thursday marked one year since President Biden took the oath of office. Since then, President Biden has presided over the highest level of inflation in 40 years, and gas prices have risen to levels not seen since 2014.
Hardworking Americans are suffering the consequences of President Biden's self-created energy crisis, which began on the first day of his presidency when he canceled the Keystone XL pipeline and turned his back on thousands of American energy workers. Instead of utilizing energy made in America, he green-lit Russia's Nord Stream 2 pipeline and gave a gift to Russia with the opportunity to expand their energy influence throughout Europe.
With energy prices soaring through the roof, President Biden begged OPEC nations to increase production of foreign oil, even though these countries have worse environmental standards and emit carbon at drastically higher rates than the U.S.
The American people deserve an all-of-the-above energy strategy that promotes responsible energy exploration and development – not more steps towards the radical Green New Deal.
This Week's HEAT Member Highlights:

At an Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy hearing, Representative Bill Johnson (R-Ohio) questioned the Biden Administration about its double-speak on pipelines and spoke out about the Administration's outright assault on fossil energy resources and how that assault is causing the price of energy to skyrocket, while killing energy jobs across our nation.
