Scalise Applauds Trump Executive Order to Protect and Expand U.S. Seafood Industry

WASHINGTON, D.C.—House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) released the following statement today regarding President Trump's executive order to increase America's competitiveness in the seafood industry and protect our seafood supply chain:

"I applaud President Trump's executive order to protect and expand the reach of America's seafood industry. This executive order will increase the safety, competitiveness, and production of U.S. seafood, reduce onerous regulations, and ensure the seafood coming into our country meets our high safety standards.
