Scalise Statement on the Passing of Former New Orleans Mayor Moon Landrieu

WASHINGTON, D.C.— House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) released the following statement upon the passing of former New Orleans Mayor Moon Landrieu: 

“I am saddened to hear of the passing of former New Orleans Mayor Moon Landrieu. Moon deeply loved New Orleans, and his long career in public service demonstrated his passion for the city and its people. My prayers are with his wife Verna and the entire Landrieu family during this difficult time.”
