Scalise Statement on the Passing of Ray Brandt

WASHINGTON, D.C.—House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) released the following statement upon the passing of Ray Brandt:

"Ray Brandt was a dear friend who dedicated his life to giving back to our community, and he will be remembered as a generous man who loved his family and lived to celebrate Louisiana and our culture. Jennifer and I are deeply saddened by Ray’s passing, and we will keep his wife Jessica and the entire Brandt family in our prayers. His presence in our community will be deeply missed."
