Scalise Statement on Visit of Secretary Perry and President Duda to Louisiana

WASHINGTON, D.C.—House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) released the following statement on the visit of Department of Energy Secretary Rick Perry and Polish President Andrzej Duda to South Louisiana to tour Cheniere's Sabine Pass LNG terminal:

The agreements reached this week between American and Polish energy companies represent a defining moment in our strategy to combat Russia's influence globally, while also increasing our march toward American energy dominance. I am glad to see Secretary Perry demonstrate the full capabilities of Louisiana energy production to Polish President Andrzej Duda as they visit the Chienere LNG terminal in South Louisiana and hope to build on this important partnership in the future."
