Hammond Named Louisiana’s Cleanest City

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Steve Scalise released the following statement after the city of Hammond received Louisiana’s Cleanest City award for the eighth consecutive year.

“I’d like to congratulate Mayor Mayson Foster, his administration and the people of Hammond on earning the distinction of Louisiana’s Cleanest City for the eighth consecutive year,” Scalise said. “One visit to the beautiful city of Hammond and you’ll see why they have built a reputation for high standards of cleanliness. The well-kept parks, residential areas, streets and sidewalks always look pristine. This distinction reflects the great pride the people of Hammond have for their community.”
