Scalise announces town hall meetings across First District August 19 - 22

Congressman Steve Scalise today announced his upcoming town hall meeting series August 19 – 22 across the First Congressional District. At the town halls, Scalise will discuss hurricane protection, flood insurance premiums, the rising cost of healthcare, and other issues affecting Louisianans and their families.

“I’m proud to host regular town hall meetings so I can hear from Louisianans as I fight to get our economy back on track, control federal spending, and eliminate President Obama’s healthcare law,” Scalise said. “I look forward to these upcoming meetings, and I hope that many will come out and share their views.”
