Scalise announces town hall meetings March 18 - 21
Washington, D.C. - Congressman Steve Scalise today announced a series of upcoming town hall meetings March 18 – 21 across the First Congressional District. At the town halls, Scalise will provide important updates on the unworkable Biggert-Waters flood insurance rate hikes, and President Obama’s health care law. He looks forward to discussing these and other issues affecting Louisianans and their families at the upcoming town hall meetings.
“Earlier this month, the House took a major step to protect Louisianans from unworkable Biggert-Waters flood insurance rate increases and provide long-term certainty to families and businesses,” Scalise said. “I look forward to discussing this and other important issues at the upcoming meetings, and I hope that many will come share their views.”
