Scalise to host First Congressional District town hall meetings April 2nd, 3rd
Washington, D.C. - Congressman Steve Scalise today announced his upcoming town hall meetings for April 2 and 3 in Hammond, Houma, and Larose. At the town halls, Scalise will take question from the audience and discuss solutions revive our economy and create jobs, control federal spending, restore our coast, and any other issues constituents would like to discuss.
“It’s an honor to represent southeast Louisiana in Congress, and I enjoy hosting regular town hall meetings so I can hear from the people I represent and take their ideas and concerns back to Washington as I fight to get our economy back on track and control federal spending,” Scalise said. “American families continue to suffer under President Obama’s tax, regulate, borrow and spend agenda, and I enjoy talking with families throughout southeast Louisiana about the budget, Washington spending, the economy, and anything else they are interested in discussing. I look forward to these upcoming town hall meetings and will continue holding regular town halls throughout the First Congressional District in the coming months.”

Louisiana’s First Congressional District includes all or parts of Jefferson Parish, Lafourche Parish, Orleans Parish, Plaquemines Parish, St. Bernard Parish, St. Charles Parish, St. Tammany Parish, Tangipahoa Parish, and Terrebonne Parish.
