Scalise to Host Health Care Town Hall on Monday, March 15

What: Town Hall Meeting on Health Care and the Process and Timing of Upcoming Votes

When: 9 - 10 AM CT, Monday, March 15

Where: East Bank Regional Library - Metairie

Why: Congressman Scalise is hosting a town hall meeting to give constituents an opportunity to express their opinion on President Obama’s health care legislation. A vote on the President’s proposed health care bill could happen in the House within the next few weeks. Scalise will also discuss the process of reconciliation and timing of upcoming votes. Following the town hall meeting, Scalise will return to Washington D.C.

Additional town hall meetings are being scheduled throughout the First Congressional District for the beginning of April. Coffee will be provided at Monday’s town hall meeting.
