Scalise to host job fair for veterans and military at Salmen High School on July 26

Metairie, LA - Congressman Steve Scalise today announced that he will host a job fair for veterans and military at Salmen High School on Saturday, July 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

“We owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to our nation’s veterans and military for answering the call to courageously serve and defend our country,” Scalise said. “For all the sacrifices made by our troops, we must do everything we can to ensure that they have the best career options available when they return to civilian life. I’m honored to host this job fair and I look forward to working with the great Louisiana business community to provide our veterans and military with great employment opportunities.”

More than 30 businesses will have representatives at the job fair to answer questions, accept resumes, and interview applicants. Participating businesses include: Edison Chouest Offshore, GE Capital, Walmart, UPS and many others.
