Scalise: New Location for St. Tammany Parish Health Care Town Hall

Mandeville -- Congressman Steve Scalise today announced that his Health Care Town Hall Meeting will now be held at the Fontainebleau High School Gym at 100 Bulldog Drive in Mandeville on Wednesday, September 2. The location has been changed to accommodate the increased interest in the health care debate.

“People all across the district are very concerned about the proposed government takeover of health care, and I am encouraged by the increased interest we are receiving in our town hall meetings.” Scalise said. “While I strongly oppose President Obama and Speaker Pelosi's attempt to pass a government takeover of health care, I have proposed common-sense health care reforms including HR 3400 that address the problems that exist without destroying the things that make our medical care the best in the world. I look forward to discussing this important issue with the residents of St. Tammany Parish at our town hall meeting on Wednesday.”
