July 29, 2011

Washington, DC -- Congressman Scalise today issued the following statement on the "America"s Broadband Connectivity Plan," a plan proposed by telecom stakeholders to the Federal Communications Commission to reform universal service and intercarrier compensation.

"Today's filing of the "America's Broadband Connectivity Plan" is welcomed input on the intercarrier compensation and Universal Service Fund reform front," Scalise said. "I am encouraged that this good faith dialogue between stakeholders and the FCC will continue moving forward, culminating in appropriate action by the FCC this fall."
