On the Biden Administration’s dangerous open border:

"Well, and that's what Joe Biden said the day he took office. He opened up the border. And look, this is the reason we impeached Secretary Mayorkas, he is failing the American people at doing his basic job of keeping us safe. You know, when he says the border is secure, we know that's a lie. He's also held press conferences saying they're vetting these people. We know there's no vetting going on. And in fact, now we find out they're hardened terrorists, violent criminals from prisons coming into our country doing harm, killing people, violently harming people.

"The Senate will not take any action on the House bills that we passed – H.R. 2 and other bills that would secure the border today. But look, this is going to come up in the debate Thursday on how President Trump had a secure border he handed over to Joe Biden and Joe Biden opened it up because he wants this policy. The American people don't want this policy. And you can bet day one President Trump will be securing America's border again."

On the contrast between President Trump and President Biden:

"He said [the debate prep is] going well, you know, he's not hiding himself in a bunker over at Camp David like Joe Biden. He's getting around like you've seen him do. It was a fundraiser for President Trump, first of all, we raised a lot of money for this Presidential election because people know what's at stake. And President Trump knows what's at stake. He talked about how the economy was so healthy when he was President last time and what he will do to get our economy moving again, to get energy production moving again so we can pay less than $2 a gallon like we were under Trump, instead of almost $4 a gallon under Biden. [He] talked about lowering the cost of household goods. Of course, he talked about securing our border and helping our friends around the world where you don't have Russia, China, and Iran running roughshod over our allies around the world. So President Trump is ready, he’s sharp, he's focused, and I think it's going to be a great debate."
