Washington, DC -- Congressman Steve Scalise today sent a letter to the White House urging the President to promptly sign the pension relief bill (H.R. 7327) that passed Congress last week. The House passed the bill last Thursday, followed by the Senate on Friday.

Each year the First Lady selects a different theme for the Tree. This year, Laura Bush invited Members of Congress to choose an artist to design an ornament that represents their district.

Washington, DC -- Congressman Steve Scalise today announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will increase the Federal share for Public Assistance to 90 percent for Hurricane Gustav recovery. The original authorization for Federal funding was 75 percent.
